Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the Western Zodiac also known as the Tropical Zodiac.

Aquarius is symbolized by the water bearer and ruled by the planet Uranus. Uranus was the God of the sky and universe. It is the planet of change and the unexpected, known for the being unconventional. Sometimes people mistake Aquarius as being a water sign due to the water bearer symbol, but that is only because of representation of how Aquarius flows freely, like the air sign it is, the water bearer being the true connection and not the water itself. This is the sign most associated with hopes and dreams and you may often find your Aquarian companion with their head in the clouds.
