Your sun sign is your Zodiac sign that you most typically think of when you think of Astrology. When you pick up a newspaper or a magazine to read your horoscope, that is your sun sign they are talking about. It represents our life source, the most powerful “planet” in our astrological birth chart because each planet holds a significant place within astrology to who we are and potentially how our life is mapped out.

The sun’s role is all about who you are as an individual and what drives your destiny. If you look at it as the sun shining down on you, these are the characteristics that it displays within you, that gives you the outer light so to say. Others can see this because it’s what can be seen within the daylight and is most visible and why it’s most prevalent within society.

I have broken down each sun sign into their basic descriptions and what they mean within the Zodiac. I will be making a segment for each planet within astrology as well as other elements of astrology, because astrology is so much more than just the sun, each planet, or even a comet we find here or there. Our universe is such an extraordinary place that has such a significant influence on our tiny little rock planet we call Earth and the more we explore, they more we understand about the magical beauty we call humanity.
